Scholarships
The Sunset Beach Woman’s Club is proud to support education by awarding scholarships to local students and adults pursuing higher education. Since our founding, we have sponsored over 360 students, helping them achieve their academic and career goals. Our scholarships are designed to empower individuals who demonstrate dedication, ambition, and a commitment to their community.
Who can apply?
Scholarships are available to students and adults residing in Sunset Beach, Surfside, and Huntington Beach who plan to pursue secondary education, including:
High school seniors entering college or vocational schools
Current college students continuing their studies
Adults returning to school for career advancement or personal growth

How to apply?
To apply, applicants must complete the Scholarship Application Form and submit the following:
A personal statement detailing educational and career goals
Proof of residency in Sunset Beach, Surfside, or Huntington Beach
A transcript or proof of enrollment in an accredited program
Letters of recommendation (if applicable)
Application Deadline:
Applications are accepted between January and March each year.
Selection Process
Our scholarship committee carefully reviews each application based on:
Academic achievements and potential
Community involvement and volunteer work
Financial need (if applicable)
Strength of personal statement and recommendations
Scholarship recipients will be notified in April and invited to a special recognition event in May.
